Wonderful walk in the garden Debbie. I really like the foliage of the hostas. That sumac is really pretty cool looking in there as well.

What a beautiful garden! I enjoyed the walk Debbie! I can't believe that it was time when I didn't like Hostas! And what is that gorgeous plant with huge white bloom on the picture #7?

Can you tell me what the plant is that's in the 5th picture down? I have one and I don't know what it is! Also, do you know of a good way to keep it from sprawling out after a hard rain? Mine has never recovered it's upright position after the last one we had. :(

Debbie, your hosta collection is great! Lucky that you have shade! I have the same 'Tiger Eye' sumac..I love it's lacy foliage and color. Deer trimmed it a bit but it's growing back okay. Thanks for the walk through the garden!

WoW! What a Texas girl wouldn't do to have such a lush garden with all the great hostas. Here in Central Texas we have a saying for hosta. "If you plant hosta the snails will come." (Eat them overnight like you never planted them.)
